As Petrovietnam celebrates its 65-year journey of building and development, the “I Love PETROVIETNAM: 65 Years of Preserving the Legacy – Powering the Nation’s Energy Future” contest is being launched across the entire Petrovietnam system.

The contest aims to inspire employees to explore, connect with, and take pride in the values, milestones, and achievements built by generations of Petrovietnam employees throughout its 65-year journey – from the first “Flame Seekers” to its position today as a National Energy and Industrial Group.

More than a knowledge competition, this is also an opportunity for every SPT employee to gain a deeper understanding of the “shared home” they are part of, while recognizing SPT’s own contributions to the broader Petrovietnam journey.

Two Stages of “I Love PETROVIETNAM” – Continuing the Journey Together

The contest consists of two stages, each highlighting a different chapter of Petrovietnam’s 65-year journey:

Stage 1 – “Preserving the Legacy”

Time: September 14 – 25, 2026

This stage offers employees an opportunity to explore Petrovietnam’s history and development, key milestones, values, and legacy passed down through generations – from the early aspiration to discover oil resources for the prosperity of the nation to the generations of “Flame Seekers” who persistently laid the foundations for Vietnam’s oil and gas industry.

Stage 2 – “Powering the Nation’s Energy Future”

Time: October 5–16, 2026

Building on the story of Petrovietnam’s legacy, Stage 2 focuses on the Group’s achievements, strategic directions, and aspirations for future development – including the “5 Assurances” mission, the “5 Firsts” achievements, and its three key development pillars: Energy – Industry – High-Quality Technical Services.

How to Participate

The contest will be conducted online, with a simple format designed to make participation accessible to all employees:

* Each stage consists of 30 multiple-choice questions and 1 prediction question, with a maximum completion time of 15 minutes.
* Each participant may take the test up to 2 times per stage. The system will automatically record the highest score for ranking purposes.
* The contest will be conducted via Microsoft Forms. No Office 365 account is required – participants only need a smartphone or computer with an internet connection.
* In the event of a tie, completion time and the prediction-question result will be used to determine the ranking.

#Prize Structure

* Each stage: The top 10 individual participants will receive the title of “Flame Keeper” (Stage 1) or “Energy Builder” (Stage 2), with each title accompanied by a prize of VND 5,000,000.
* Overall prizes (based on results across both stages): 01 Grand Prize (VND 15,000,000), 01 First Prize (VND 10,000,000), 02 Second Prizes, 03 Third Prizes, and 05 Consolation Prizes.
* Team prizes: Units will be evaluated based on participation rate, the percentage of employees completing both stages, and overall performance. This is also an opportunity for SPT to demonstrate its spirit of engagement and healthy competition across the entire Petrovietnam system.

There is no need to memorize every single figure. The best way to prepare is to read for understanding – follow the story, connect the milestones, and understand how the events and achievements relate to one another.

Taking part in the contest is not only an opportunity to challenge yourself and learn more about Petrovietnam, but also a chance for every employee to reflect on its 65-year journey, take greater pride in the values that generations have built together  “Aspiration, Intellect, Professionalism, and Humanity” and look forward to new chapters of growth and development.
